BEST DUAS TO STRENGTHEN YOUR IMAN/FAITH- FROM QUR’AN AND HADITH

https://wp.me/p4GU3D-Fp

It was narrated that Anas said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) often used to say: “O Turner of the hearts, make my heart steadfast in adhering to Your religion.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (2140) and Ibn Maajah (3834); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi.

The dua from the Hadith is:

يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ

“O Turner of the hearts (Allah), make my heart steadfast in adhering to Your religion.”

{Transliteration: Ya MuqallibalQuloob, thabbit qalbee alaa deenik}

The dua from the Qur’an is:

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ –

“Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower. [Qur’an 3:8]

{Transliteration: Rabbanaa laa tuzigh quloobana ba’Ada ith hadaytanaa wahab lanaa min ladunkarahmatan innaka anta alwahhaab}

Everyone has had some sort of trouble or difficulty in life. Trials can bring out the best or worst in you.

But for the sincere seekers, trials may be the turning point in your life.

Sickness, loss of loved ones, decrease in wealth, whatever the issue…it makes us question, why am I here in the first place?

There’s got to be more to life than making money, looking good, having a family, being famous…

Isn’t it time we rethought our priorities?

Ramadan just passed.

Some of us passed before Ramadan.

Alhamdulillah we have been blessed with the opportunity to change, before it’s too late.

Are we trying our best to pray the 5 daily Salah on time?

Are we making efforts to ensure we eat and earn Halal?

Are we observing Hijab internally and externally?

Are we restraining our desires keeping only to the permissible?

Are we guarding ourselves from what Allah doesn’t like, shunning all the major sins?

Are we trying our best to do what Allah loves, and fulfilling the obligations?

Are we trying to maintain TAQWA- GOD-CONCIOUSNESS?

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ –

Qur’an 51:56

And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone).

This reminder is for us before anyone else. How does the above apply to me? Because none of us are perfect.

But we have a Most Merciful, Most Forgiving, Ever-Living Master- Allah, The One True God worthy of worship.

Alhamdulillah for the realisation.

It’s still not too late to change our ways.

But we must be sincere, and change for the better now.

Because if not now, when?

May Allah help us to serve Him alone, make us sincere and successful, and the people of paradise. Allah bestow blessings upon His last prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. Amin

Please take a few moments for the sake of Allah to discover the obligations, sunnahs and etiquettes of Eid-ul-fitr :

The etiquettes of Eid, the takbeer etc.

Seasonal reminder- Departure of an old friend, Ramadan, arrival of Eid-ul-fitr, Etiquettes, prayer and more

The Ruling and Sunnah’s of Eid

Description of Eid prayer

When should zakat-al-fitr be paid

Let us work hard to maintain TAQWA of Allah and try our hardest not to undo all the good we done in Ramadan! Remember Ramadan is training for the yera round, so we remind ourselves to keep onto the good habits of fasting and prayers including night prayer. Allah grant us tawfiq and jannat al firdaus! May Allah bless our beloved Rasool Muhammad peace be upon him, amin!

Some top tips (see above links for references from Qur’an and sunnah):

1- Make sure you’ve paid zakat-ul-fitr, before the Eid salat.

2- Keep pronouncing the takbeer (starts on night of Eid until the imam emerges to lead the Eid prayer.) The Takbeer is:

Allahu Akbar, Allahu akbar, Allahu Akbar, laa ilaha illAllah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa lillaahilHamd.

(Allah is Most Great, Allah is Most Great, Allah is Most Great, There is no true god worthy of worship, except Allah. Allah is Most Great, Allah is Most Great, Allah is Most Great and all praise be to Allah.)

3-Have ghusl in the morning before going out to pray

4- Ensure you have eaten something before the prayer of Eid-ul-Fitr. Try eating an odd number of dates, as the prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam did.

5- Men should go out wearing their finest clothes, perfume etc. When going out or in the presence of non-mahram men, women should avoid perfume. Women can wear their fine clothes so long as it is concealed by a full and complete, unadorned Hijab. When in female only environments, or among their mahram relatives, women may adorn themselves appropriately. My dear readers, let us remind ourselves that obedience to Allah takes precedence over all else. We have just fasted Ramadan to gain Taqwa, let us keep working on it for Allah alone!

6- Pray the Eid prayer in congregation

7- Congratulate one another! Taqabbal Allahu minnaa wa minkum (May Allah accept (the fast and worship) from us and from you)

8- Go out to pray one route, and return by another.

Remember us in your duas too in sha Allah!

MAY ALLAH HELP US REMEMBER HIM ALWAYS AND REMIND EACH OTHER, ALLAHUMMA SALLI ALAA MUHAMMAD! AMIN

WE LOVE ALLAH! Alhamdulillah
