ThurrockMuslims.com (formerly www.thurrockmuslims.wordpress.com) was the premier website set up to connect, support, inspire, educate and unite the Muslims in Thurrock and beyond!
Our goal is to serve Allah alone, following the way of the Final Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.
Origins
Since 2014, thurrockmuslims.com has grown ma sha Allah and we are unrelenting in our mission.
We are Muslims, writers, professionals, leaders, educators, parents, youth and members of the Thurrock community and surrounding areas, who want to make a positive difference for generations to come, in sha Allah.

1-Simplified resources with reference to the authentic sources of Islam, [ The Qur’an, and the Sunnah (practices and teachings of Allah’s final Messenger and Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.)] A dedicated section for schools who require material about Islam is available free of charge.
2- Information related to Thurrock, businesses, Mosques, Madrasah
3- Regular updates of local events of benefit to the community, including Islamic events in Thurrock, meet-ups, Eid prayer arrangements, prayer times, mosque and madrasah activities.

Our Success
We have been honoured (All praise is to Allah) with success in:
1- Uniting, inspiring and educating our community, promoting Islamic principles
2-Encouraging business start-ups, community groups and Muslim enterpreneurs to create opportunities and jobs for people, especially local residents.
3- Our community work is enriching Muslims in Thurrock to embrace their identities, to volunteer and assist others and to become well-rounded beneficial citizens. May Allah accept this from us and grant us sincerity and success.
4- Engaging with the broader community, promoting peace and justice.
The Thurrock Muslim Community’s on-going endeavours and pioneering community events (including family get-togethers, fundays, parties, children’s groups, women’s programmes, da’wah efforts and religious gatherings etc.)are successfully benefitting the community and reconnecting people.

It was narrated from Mu’aadh ibn Jabal that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The shaytaan is the wolf of man like the wolf of sheep takes the stray sheep and the one that wanders far. Beware of division, and adhere to the jamaa’ah.”
Narrated by Ahmad (22029); classed as hasan by the editors of al-Musnad.
Allah, The One True God, informed us in The Qur’an, Chapter 3 (English interpretation):
‘And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favour of Allah upon you – when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favour, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided.‘
May Allah grant us all sincerity, guidance, peace, unity, mercy, forgiveness, success and Paradise. And abundant blessings of Allah be upon His final Prophet Muhammad. Allah grant us correct Islamic knowledge, sincere implementation in accordance with the Qur’an and Sunnah and may we effectively convey it, with the permission of Allah. Ameen
